You are welcome to arrive on either Wednesday, August 28, 2024, or Thursday, August 29, 2024. While the optional welcome day by the pool offers a relaxed start, it's essential to note that the ceremony rehearsal begins promptly at 5pm on Thursday, August 29, 2024, and attendance of all guests is required. Departures from Domus Laeta Villa are scheduled for Sunday, September 1, 2024.
The earlier, the better! We suggest keeping an eye on flight options in the coming weeks and aim to make your bookings in the month of March or April to secure the best availability and prices.
Fortunately, we do not need a visa to enter Italy! A valid passport is required for all guests traveling to Italy. Please ensure your passport has at least six months of validity beyond your planned departure date.
*If you plan to travel outside of Italy before or after the wedding celebration, be sure that you review the visa requirements of the respective country you intend to visit.
You have the option to bring your own car seats for the little ones; however, if you choose not to, the transportation company will provide car seats for your convenience. Please include the number of car seats (and/or strollers) you plan to bring in your email with your flights details.
Minibuses will be reserved to ensure families can travel comfortably and conveniently. We encourage guests to coordinate their flights and/or trains, allowing everyone to share the same minibus from Naples for a cohesive and enjoyable travel experience.
Giungano is approximately 70 miles southeast (1.5hr drive) of Naples.
No, the bride and groom will be arriving to the villa on Tuesday, August 27, to extend a warm welcome to everyone arriving on the following day(s).
Giungano experiences warm and pleasant weather during August and September. Generally, you can expect temperatures to range from around 68 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit during the day (this temperature range, of course, may vary). August tends to be one of the warmest months, so please pack appropriate clothing (and your bathing suits!).
It's advisable to bring comfortable summer clothing, sunscreen, and perhaps a light jacket or sweater for the evenings. Additionally, since Giungano is located in the Campania region, known for its Mediterranean climate, you can anticipate mostly dry and sunny weather during this time.
However, for the most accurate and up-to-date weather information, it's recommended to check a reliable weather forecasting service closer to the travel dates.
The dress code for the wedding ceremony is summer formal. As the ceremony will take place outdoors, we kindly suggest opting for breathable and comfortable fabrics to ensure everyone's enjoyment and comfort.
*The ceremony will be no longer than 30 minutes.
*We kindly request our guests to choose attire in neutral colors and earth tones such as greens, blues, soft pinks, etc.
In Naples and Rome, a significant number of people are fluent in English. However, upon reaching Giungano, we expect that most locals may primarily speak Italian. Rest assured, the staff at Domus Laeta Villa is proficient in English and will be readily available to assist with translation if needed.
While we sincerely hope that everyone can join us for this fantastic private boat tour, recognizing the day involves substantial travel and activity, we completely understand if you decide otherwise. In such cases, we'll be delighted to arrange alternative activities in the local Giungano area.
